About

Dr Ilvana Dzafic

I am a registered psychologist with a PhD in Neuroscience, dedicated to delivering client-centred, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My approach is both trauma-informed and grounded in neuroscience. I take into account your history and life experiences, while also considering how brain function and biological factors may be contributing.

Whether you're working through trauma, mental health challenges, or seeking practical techniques and strategies, you can expect a collaborative approach as we work toward meaningful change. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where your perspectives are heard and valued.

My areas of expertise include psychosis, trauma, personality disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ASD, ADHD, grief, postpartum, and relationship difficulties. I also have extensive experience with NDIS and various insurers (e.g., TAC, workers compensation - SIRA).

In therapy, I use evidence-based techniques and strategies, from CBT, DBT, ACT and Schema therapy. I also provide assessments for diagnostic purposes, for ADHD, Autism and a range of mental health disorders.

I look forward to working with you on your journey to mental well-being.
